Come visit our 90qm boutique Pilates studio excuding a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Our studio is clean, spacious and modernly furnished, equipped with only professional Pilates apparatus from Balanced Body and Merrithew and high quality props from premium brands such as bala and Sissel.

Intense Pilates combines elements of classical and contemporary Pilates while keeping the essence of real Pilates. We are completely dedicated to share and pass on our love and knowledge of the Pilates method to each and everyone. From total beginner to advanced competitve athlete we are offering tailor-made programs which are designed to your respective fitness levels and needs.

Every training session will be adapted to the individual abilities and requirements of our clients. This enables an effective and goal-oriented workout. It’s our mission to honour the legacy of Joseph „Joe“ Pilates and teach in the most authentic yet innovative way possible so you can experience and enjoy the full scope of the Pilates method.

Intense Pilates was founded in August 2019 with the pursuit to help everyone getting not only physically but also mentally fit and feeling their best. Since then we are continously concentrating on evolving our program to exceed the limits of regular workout programms to ensure a wholesome training response.

We’d like to inspire all of our clients to move their bodies efficiently yet more intentionally, to get to know their own body language and thus achieving a healthy body and mind condition.

All our trainers have been accredited by the DPV (Deutscher Pilates Verband / German Pilates Association) and/or the PMA ( Pilates Method Alliance) and have acquired their education by studying and observing in a real Pilates studio to guarantee an authentic and safe Pilates training. Our trainers also have comprehenisve experience in both classical and contemporary Pilates.

Marion Stach is a passionate and multiple-certified Pilates instructor with comprehensive education and many years of practice (own practice +15 years, teaching practice +9 years) and also an acknowledged member of the DPV (Deutscher Pilates Verband/German Pilates Association)

Since 2015 Marion has been teaching a huge variety of classes and is very dedicated to take care of all special demands of her clients. Always working on bringing the latest state of research and applying the most effective techniques.

Since 2016 she continously participated in various workshops and advanced trainings. By gaining deeper insights into the method and keeping up with the progression of it, she manages to create the most rewarding Pilates experience. Her training and education in the Pilates field amounts to >900h.

In addition Marion underwent a CTTC (comprehensive teacher training course) at the renowned Pilates insitute basi (Body Art & Science International) covering mat and all apparatus (inter alia Reformer, Cadillac, Wundachair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector).
basi was founded over 35 years ago and represents absolute Pilates expertise and premium education and is respected all over the world. Represented in 30 countries on all 5 continents basi is an acknowledged educational institute from the DPV (German Pilates Association) and the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) and belongs to the top tier leaders in the Pilates world.

Marion’s purpose is to assist each and every client to reach their personal health, wellness and fitness goals and at the same time creating a safe and encouraging environment where everyone feels appreciated and welcome.

Pilates

Created and developped by the German fitness pioneer Joseph Pilates in the 1930s to originally rehabilitate war wounded, Pilates is a full body conditioning program to stabilize the core and strengthen the deep abdominal and back muscles.

Matwork

Pure matwork working using your own bodyweight and multiple small equipment and props (e.g. miniball, magic circle, balance pad, resistance bands, weights, pole, sliders, etc.)

 


Apparatus

The Pilates apparatus are one of a kind, developped and designed by the master himself. They provide amazing feedback while teaching you stability and control and also get you deeper into strengthening and lengthening your body.

Most of the apparatus operate with springs and pulleys and e.g. due to their progressive resistance they are unlike any other fitness devices.

Unlike common belief these are no machines as you have to stabilize yourself and have to work with and against the spring tension. This enables a multitude of variations from beginner to advanced level and from rehabilitation mode to athletic performance training.

In total Joseph Pilates developped more than 20 Pilates apparatus and over 500 exercises in his life.

Barre

Barre Workout is a sweaty, highly effective full body training which fuses elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga and cardio. The training is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We are training on a ballet barre and on the mat using various fun equipment.

The perfect combination to shape and chisel your body from all angles. Barre is a challenging but low impact workout, no dance experience needed.

FAQ

FAQ/ Frequently Asked Questions

Simply use our platform at eversports (eversports link), open the studio schedule and choose the class you want by clicking on it. Afterwards you will receive a booking confirmation per e-mail. If you should face any issues please get in touch with us via phone or e-mail.

That depends on your own wellbeing, goals and availability. We recommend 1-3 times per week, ideally a mix of mat and apparatus Pilates.

A free of charge consultation of approx.15 minutes can be scheduled upon availability of our trainers. Please contact us via phone or e-mail

We teach in German and English.

In these cases we striclty advice against training and you should wait until the pain has subsided. We also recommend to consult your treating physician before going back to training.

No, Pilates is suitable for any body at any age. However, participants under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent in writing.

Comfortable and casual active wear and socks (our recommendation is non-slip socks for apparatus training to give you more grip). Please keep in mind that wearing socks in our studio is mandatory. Jewellery should be taken off before class to avoid injuries and also the possibility of damaging the jewellery.

Just yourself, a small towel and something to drink.

All 10-class passes are valid for 6 month starting with the date of purchase. In special cases only (e.g. due to chronical illness) the period may be extended.

Please cancel your class via our eversports platform at least 12h before training.
Cancellations must be done 12 hours or more prior to class start time. You will receive a full refund that will go back onto your account or class pass. Any changes can be done online through eversports. If you do not cancel within this time period this will be considered a late cancel and you will be charged as if you attended the class. No shows to class will also be charged as if you attended the class.

Yes, parking spaces in front of the building can be used during your trainings at Intense Pilates.

If you have no Pilates experience we recommend not to start with Pilates during pregnancy. If you’ve already done Pilates on a regular basis you can train with us from 4th month of pregnancy but only with modifications and we do recommend to take one of our prenatal classes. Please also check with your doctor in order to be safe.

After completion of your postpartum recovery course you can attend classes again.
Please make sure to consult your midwife and/or doctor before getting back to training. We also recommend to start with one of our postnatal classes as we want to make sure you return to exercise safely.

Yes, you surely can bring your baby/babies to postnatal class. Please note that parents are liable for their children.

Dogs are allowed in private and semi-private training sessions but please check with trainer before. However, for group classes this is not possible.

During your training we do not permitt any type of food or chewing gum as there is a risk of suffocation. Chewing movement also distracts and inhibits proper breathing patterns which are needed during your Pilates practice. You can have food and snacks in the lounge area though.

No, unfortunately not. We are a small boutique type studio and there are no showers currently available.

We are open to feedback and are trying our best to improve our service continously. Please give us your honest review and input so we can implement changes and make sure to create your training more goal-oriented and satisfactory in the future.

Please make sure to check with the trainer before you take pictures or videos. We also need to protect the privacy of other clients, so please put this in consideration. Because of safety issues and potential injuries it is not permitted to film yourself while exercising. Please ask the trainer or another client to film for you.
